Chemical Tempered Glass With High Pressure Resistance
What is it?
Chemically tempered glass is a kind of prestressed glass, to enhance the strength of the glass, usually using chemical or physical methods, the glass surface compressive stress is formed, when the surface of the glass to withstand external force first counteract stress, thus improving the carrying capacity and enhance the glass itself wind pressure resistance, cold and heat resistance, impact resistance and so on.
Advantage:
a)Resistance to thermal shock and chemical properties than ordinary glass of 2 to 3 fold increase
b)Generally can withstand temperature changes over 150LC, to prevent heat burst had a significant effect.
c)More flat than Mechanical tempered glass, suitable for flat high demanding customers.
d)Is able to temper very small pieces and very thin glass, like 0.2mm above thickness of glass is temperable.
Applications:
Window; Facade; Wall cladding; Building; Greenhouse; Sunroom; Electronic product screens; Railing; Handrail; Stairs; Staircase; Flooring; Skylight; Roof; Dome; Canopy; Awnings, shower doors; Tables; Partitions; Enclosure; Fencing; Furnitures; Etc.
Features:
1. High strength, uniform strees distribution, no stress stain
2. No spontaneous breakage
3. Customized thickness and shape
4. Stable optical performance
5. Able to treat ultra thin glass
Limitation: No shattered status if broken, not belongs to safety glass.
