Clear Patterned Glass-Nashiji, Mistlite for furniture decoration
Patterned glass has many available patterns: Nashiji, water fall, mayflower, moru, mistlite, etc. Patterned glass-Nashiji, Mistlite is made with a rolled glass process. The semi-molten glass is squeezed between two metal rollers. The bottom roller is engraved with the negative of the potter. Thickness is controlled by adjustment of the gap between the rollers. Patterned glass is a translucent figured glass which allows transmission of daylight, while obscuring visibility of object. Patterned glass is manufactured by the Roll-Out-Process, whereby a roller imprints the pattern onto the glass surface.
Patterned glass-Nashiji, Mistlite is a kind of float glass, manufactured by rolling method, also called figured glass
